Mae Beth, Sarah, & Tyler at the Farragut Middle School talent show! Mae Beth rocked it out with "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus...I'd SO rather hear her sing it than the original!
Anna Kate and storytime with Daddy after he got back from a long week at market! We were so glad to see him!

All I'm going to say is that life has been INSANE the past month, and I think I've decided that blogging is like working out...if you quit doing it consistently, it's just easy to stop all together. As of a few weeks ago, Tyler and I are helping out with the advertising for the company, which is a fantastic opportunity that we're thrilled to have the chance at, but at the same time, it's been trial by fire, as we're re-opening the Ashley Store in Turkey Creek in a week or so and are handling most of the creative for the promotion running the end of this month thru the 4th! WHEW!
I'm not quite sure where to start with Anna Kate's progress. She's walking EVERYWHERE and has been since right after her birthday. She's cutting pre-molars (I think that's what you call them) on the left, but not the right side, still not talking, and eating solid food by herself. I'm terrified to let her try to spoon-feed herself yet, though, so any tips from the veteran toddler mamas out there, would be welcome! :)
Our 7th anniversary was a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing how much things have changed in those 7 years, especially in the year since our last anniversary. Parenthood is an amazing part of this journey Tyler and I are on together, and we definitely feel blessed beyond what we deserve! God is good!

Great update! I love your analogy of blogging to working out! HA! So true, but I would much rather blog than workout! Let's play soon!
So glad you're back! Anna Kate is so precious and she has grown so much - my, doesn't time fly?
As for the spoon feeding...GO FOR IT! What's the worst that could happen? A big fat mess in the floor, on the wall, on her clothes, on her face, in her hair...but SO worth it. Start with spoons that are short and fat so they're easier for her to handle. I bought some bowls that have suction cups on the bottom so they don't have to chase the bowl as it scoots all over the tray! They also make bowls that have lips around the edges of them that make it easy to scoop the food onto the spoon without it falling off the side of the bowl. Both were Gerber I think...check their website. Oh and give her something (like mashed potatoes or oatmeal) that will easily stick to the spoon until she gets the hang of it. And make sure you post some pictures so we can see how big of a mess she makes!
Hey...I looked up the bowls I was talking about. They're called Gerber Lil' Trainer Tableware and there is a picture of them on the Gerber website under the Toddlers section. Babies R Us probably has them.
Happy Anniversary (late)! Anna Kate has grown so much. I think my favorite pic is the one of her and your mom outside. I love those legs! I agree with Fran, let's play soon!
